I have the same problem. 1.11.1 (github) is clean. But 1.11.2 (downloaded from github on 26.05) - Avast and Avira find Android:Evo-gen. Even the old Huawei Y5 complains about this virus. The system antivirus on Samsung also complains about security. It is interesting that 3 smartphones started complaining only today almost at the same time... Checking on virustotal also finds a trojan in version 1.11.2. |

Weird that they started complaining today & not previously. As Acode can't perform auto update or in-app update or like live update, Everything has to be updated in apk form or play Store.... There is a stackoverflow thread regarding Avast falsely reporting an app with "Android:Evo-gen [Trj]", which might be the case with Acode. |
This might be happening because the paid version was installed without a purchase, from a third-party source. Play Protect probably thinks it's a modded APK. The same APK is available on the Google Play Store if it were actually malicious, the Play Store wouldn't update it. But I'm not completely sure.

Another thing is that the debug version isn't detected as harmful. I don't know why it's only happening with the release builds. |
