Installation

CodeGPT is accessible on both VSCode, Cursor and Jetbrains. In this tutorial, we'll guide you through the installation process regardless of your preferred text editor.

Visual Studio Code

First download and install Visual Studio Code: Download

VSCode Marketplace tab

You could go to the Extensions tab in VSCode and search for CodeGPT. :::note Search for CodeGPT in the Extensions tab

You can either click on this link to go directly to the CodeGPT's Visual Studio Marketplace page:

Open VSX

You can download the extension via Open VSX:

Cursor

If you prefer to use Cursor, you can download it at this link: Download

Cursor Markteplace tab

You could go to the Extensions tab in Cursor and search for CodeGPT. :::note Search for CodeGPT in Cursor extension bar

Jetbrains

If you prefer to use JetBrains, you can download it at this link: Download CodeGPT is available in all these Jetbrains IDEs:

You could go to the Plugins tab in JetBrains and search for CodeGPT. :::note Search for CodeGPT in Jetbrains plugin marketplace

Now that you have the extension installed, you need to proceed with the appropriate configuration.
