Why was yarn.lock added to .gitignore

I saw here that you guys added the yarn.lock file to .gitignore.

Why did you guys do that? Doesn't is better to keep the file tracked in order to prevent dependencies errors across the developers?

I'm really just curious and would love to learn from you!
